This App has been designed to allow users to locate routes in their vicinity which have been previously created by other users. They can then, depending on the type of activity they are participating in such as running, cycling or walking, select the route most suitable for their own purposes

The application has been created using standardised web technology and can be launched directly from the web browser. This allows the user to operate the app directly from the homepage of “GPS-Tour.info”.

The application was vigorously and extensively tested during the development; external libraries were used to guarantee that the web App would run with consistent quality on a variety of platforms and avoid the need for further development costs at a later date.

The greatest advantage this application enjoys, compared with similar existing products, is that these have been developed exclusively for use on only one platform and pairing or connecting them with other platforms can only be realised with great effort and by incurring extra development costs.

This App is the first of its kind, based entirely on standardized web technology, to be used for this scope of application which can be run on all modern devices which use the operating systems OS and Android.
