The medical centre in Haslach is a pilot project which combines all types of medical care at one location. The client’s wish is to realise a system for managing medical products as efficiently as possible.

Problem description

In the medical centre, individual lists in paper form are currently used for the administration of products to determine stock levels and orders. An evaluation of stock levels thus requires a lot of time and is associated with paperwork, as such lists are not used across staff members. Central administration and information on current stocks are therefore not available.

Objective

The objective of the project was to develop a productive web application for the administration and evaluation of stocks of medical products at the medical centre in Haslach, whereby the main work processes can be carried out efficiently, simply and in a user-friendly manner. The focus is on storing, retrieving, transferring and evaluating the stock. In addition, there is the possibility to create an order list as well as an inventory list in order to facilitate the work of the employees.

Result

After a prototype phase, the project went live on 1st April 2021 in the medical centre in Haslach as a central administration system and is used by all employees.

System description

In order not to be tied to a specific location, we decided to realise this application by means of a web application. The advantage is that the application can be used in any browser and from any location. The entire application was realised with ASP.NET Core 3.1 Razor Pages.
