Plattform für regionales Informationssystem “Grenzland”

Problemstellung
Der Verein Grenzland ist an die HTL Neufelden herangetreten, um ein Web-Content-Management für ein regionales Informationssystems und ein Portal zur Präsentation des Vereins zu erstellen.
Es soll möglich sein, einfach und schnell ganze Gemeindehomepages und das Vereins Portal zu verwalten.
Das CMS-System soll auf Basis von Typo3 erstellt werden.
Weiters soll gewährleistet sein, dass die Gemeindehomepages und das Vereins Portal immer aktuell gehalten werden kann. Für die Gemeindemitarbeiter bzw. Vereinsmitglieder darf kein spezifisches Fachwissen vorausgesetzt werden.

Zielsetzung
Es soll ein CMS-System erstellt werden, das ermöglicht, Gemeindehomepages von verschiedenen Gemeinden getrennt zu verwalten und ein Portal für den Verein Grenzland.

Für die Benutzung des Produktes sollen und dürfen nur Grundkenntnisse im Umgang mit dem Computer vorausgesetzt werden und auf keinen Fall die Kenntnisse in einer Programmier- oder Auszeichnungssprache.
Den Gemeinden und dem Verein stehen verschiedene Benutzergruppen mit unterschiedlicher Rechteaufteilung zur Verfügung.
Jeder Gemeinde steht ein eigenes Template zur Verfügung.

Systembeschreibung
Der Gemeindemitarbeiter bzw. Vereins Mitglied loggt sich über das Internet ins Backend (Administrationsoberfläche) ein.
Er kann dort abhängig von seinen Rechten Datensätze, Plugins und Seiten anlegen, bearbeiten und löschen.
Die Systemeinstellungen sind vom Administrator erledigen

Ergebnis
Das System konnte Ende Mai 2009 dem Auftraggeber übergeben werden und arbeitet seither im Probebetrieb.

Presentation of the problem
The Grenzland union asked the company Miex.at to create a Web Content Management System for a regional information system and a portal for the presentation of the association. Therefore we should create a Web Content Management System which allows a normal corporation worker or a member of the Grenzland to create and keep internet sites updated without any help from other people (for example an administrator). So our first aim was to reduce working steps for keeping internet sites up to date, or simply make them better.

The Web-Content-Management-System should work on a web server. All the content is stored on a database to prevent redundancy. It should be possible to handle the system only with a

web browser. Every person who works with the system only needs basic knowledge in electronic data processing and no knowledge in any programming language.

Objectives
The basic aim is to create a CMS system, which is able to administer several regional commune homepages and the Grenzland portal.

The different regional communes can be managed independently from each other. This should reduce the administration time for every regional commune. For the use of this product every employee only needs basic knowledge electronic data processing and no knowledge in any programming language.

Now it is ensured, that everybody is able to administrate the sites and keep them updated. Every corporation has several user groups with different security levels at one’s disposal. With this condition every regional commune especially the Grenzland union is able to decide on their own who has which rights to create or delete websites. Each commune gets an individual design.

Further conditions
The system should have a user friendly menu architecture. With the easy handling of our system, contents could be updated very fast and easily. Through the use of a central database it should be ensured that there is no redundancy.

Results
The result is a complete functional system to maintain the regional commune website and the Grenzland portal. The final CMS System can be handed over at the end of Mai 2009 and is now in test mode.

Usability
This software is specified to administer different user groups.
Various homepages can be administered centrally. Users of several regional commune homepages can only see their own data.
The biggest aim of this software is that homepages can be edited and updated very fast.
Users only need basic knowledge in electronic data processing to handle this program.

Description
Corporate employees log on the system via the internet. They get their access data from the company mieX.
Depending on the user group the employee has different rights.
There he/she is able to create, delete and edit data, plugins or sites.
Configurations regarding the template are done by the administrator.
