As part of our diploma thesis, we developed an access system including an online shop for a climbing tower in Waizenkirchen. The climbing tower was built and is operated by the Alpenverein Linz, local group Waizenkirchen. Since it is a small local group and the tower should be accessible the whole day, it is not possible to employ staff for ticket sales. Therefore, a possibility was sought to grant controlled access to the climbing area.  This is how the system and this diploma thesis came into being.
